MUN Conferences Across Bharat — India's Growing Circuit.
Searching for MUN conferences in Bharat? This is Delhi MUN's guide to the pan-India MUN scene — the formats, the circuits, and what makes Indian MUN unique.
This page is published by Delhi MUN — a New Delhi–based conference. It is not affiliated with any other conference using a similar name.
From Metro Halls to Tier-2 Cities.
The Bharat MUN circuit started in Delhi and Mumbai — large university campuses running a handful of flagship conferences. Over the past decade it has expanded outward: Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Kochi, Bhopal, and dozens of smaller cities now host their own active MUN communities. Tier-2 and tier-3 college circuits have become the circuit's growth engine.
What accelerated this spread: Indian-format committees. AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet) and IP (Indian Parliament) committees don't require prior international policy knowledge — they run on domestic political awareness that any student in Bharat already has. This made MUN accessible far beyond the metro English-medium schools where it began.
Today the circuit runs hundreds of conferences annually. Delegates travel across state lines for flagship events; school students debate in their own cities. Delhi, as the capital and home to the highest concentration of colleges, remains the circuit's hub — and Delhi MUN 2026 is built for that full national audience. See the full India MUN guide →
METRO → TIER-2.
The circuit now reaches Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Kochi — not just Delhi and Mumbai.

AIPPM: The Committee Format Born in India.
AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet) is what makes Indian MUN distinct from any other national circuit in the world. Delegates represent Congress, BJP, AAP, SP, and regional parties — debating real domestic policy through Bills, Chits, Zero Hour, and whipped votes.
It demands knowledge of India's political landscape and parliamentary procedure. Delhi MUN 2026 features AIPPM — read our full guide to prepare.
