Frequently Asked

FAQ

What documents should I bring to a MUN conference?
Bring your delegate badge/credential letter, a printed position paper, the background guide, your country matrix, printed key UN resolutions you plan to reference, and any pre-written speech notes.
What stationery do I need for MUN?
Bring blue or black pens (multiple), a notepad for working paper drafts and chit writing, highlighters for your background guide, and a folder to keep documents organised. Post-its are useful for flagging sections.
Can I use my phone during MUN committee?
Policies vary by conference. Most allow phones for research but discourage social media. At Delhi MUN, delegates may use phones for research — but avoid them visibly during speeches.
Do I need to print my position paper?
Yes — always bring a printed copy. Many conferences require you to submit it to the EB at the start of the first session. Having a physical copy also lets you reference it without looking at a screen.
